I had the chance to spend a bit of time in the city of Hurghada while visiting Egypt. All I can say is Wow!

Hurghada is one of the main tourist centers and the third largest city in Egypt. It is located on the Red Sea, approximately 450km from Cairo.

The activity and energy is over-flowing. We walked along, chatting, taking in the sights and doing a bit of shopping. People were friendly, all smiles and the energy was contagious. It seemed that there was no *pause button* it was go, Go, GO!! I was not brave enough to navigate the traffic to cross the street, it is very busy there!

When we were done with our shopping, we drove over to the New Marina, where it is much quieter and relaxed. We walked along and decided upon one of the cafés to sit, have a drink and relax in. It was the perfect setting. The food was very good, the atmosphere was comfortable and the people were just wonderful. We took our time to enjoy our surroundings, watch the people and had a drink and shisha.

The city of Hurghada has everything to offer. Just 6km from the airport, we were given the opportunity to tour two stunning properties. The Steigenberger Aqua Magic and the Steigenberger Al Dau Beach Hotel.
